Pre-race routine:

Woke up around 7AM and got dressed. Ate one waffle with PB & Honey - our normal pre-race meal. Complained about the cold - "who picked such a cold race... :)"

Comments:

Started out slow, the course was packed! I think there were definately more participants than last year!

After about .5 miles, it started to break up and we started to pick up the pace. I was okay with the first mile split, since we had to go so slow at the beginning, but was frustrated with my second two miles. I guess the break in December took more out of me than I realized.
What would you do differently?:

Ran faster... :)
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around, got my blue icee - my throat felt like it was on FIRE! I was grumpy after we finished the race, so we pretty much went straight to the car.

Event comments:

I really like this race, plus the proceeds go toward the high school mission trip to Mexico. I LOVE the icee truck at the finish line - there are 6 different flavors to choose from (although you only need blue raspberry).

Performance: Below average
Course: Two loop course around the church - Johnson Ferry -> Lower Roswell -> Woodlawn. The course is slighly rolling, enough to annoy my HR.
