Comments:

The race was interesting. It was my first half marathon, and my first time in Vegas.. so overall things could have gone worse! I managed to go under my 2:10 goal time, and I think I could have hit 2:05 if not for the darn headwind the last 5 miles. And the mile markers were so screwed up the last half that I had no concept of what pace I was at anymore. Then all the sudden aid stations were at the half miles, not actual miles, and then I was really confused on where I was at on pacing. But it was a cool race. Nothing like 18,000 people running down the strip at 6am in the morning with Elvis. And people getting married during the race in the run through chapel! Overall, it was fun.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, this one was a stepping stone for what to do next time. I would say though, Vegas is probably not the place for a PR if you actually play in Vegas!
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around a little, got some water

Event comments:

Maybe they purposely messed up the markers for us. Or a drunk put them up... it is Vegas after all
