Comments: GREAT RUN! My first 1/2 marathon and I was hoping for 2:15, so I am thrilled with going sub my goal time. It would have been a bit shorter but I stopped just before the finish time chip box not realizing it. All in all still an incredible time for me. What would you do differently?: I would wake up earlier and relax, do some core work pre race and additional stretching. Also, would avoid the gatorade - my stomach is still turning from all the goo and gatorade! Post race
Warm down: Grabbed my kids, hugged and kissed them!!!!!!! What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing - this is all I could have done. Event comments: This was a great race and I would definately do it again. It was a beautiful first 1/2 to do. All women - and the energy was incredible.
