Pre-race routine:

I had a horrible pre- race routine. I ate about 1 1/2 hrs before race time and I had some "Pump me up" supplement. More to follow

Stretching, and 6 minute jog follwed by more stretching

Started well, with the pac but I felt like puking after the 1st Km. Probably the supplement.

Not take the supplement

Warm down:

slow jog and stretch.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

My goal was 25 minutes. I think the supplement did me in.

Event comments:

For a 5K it was very well organized, there were a lot of running clubs. Every one cooperated and were really nice. Great race to end the year.

The supplement got my heart rate up to 190 -194 through the whole race...I'm normally at 186. It did not feel very good during the race.
Course: road course. pretty flat. ended at the track of the San Juan Central Park.
