Run
Comments: Felt good during most of the run. My left hip was a little sore from running hard last night. Wasn't sure how to dress and ended up taking off my LS shirt a little after mile 2. Was then comfortable running in the SS shirt. Carried by water bottle since I wasn't sure how many or the locations of water stops. Overall, I was happy with my splits....it was a hilly, wet course and I just ran last night. What would you do differently?: Dress properly. Post race
Warm down: Found Brad and grabbed a bottle of water. Headed inside Ida Lee to rinse the mud off and then to the pool to swim. What limited your ability to perform faster: The hills. Other than that, I had a 10K PR by :46! WOO HOO! Event comments: Very organized race with a fun course (although Brad's GPS said the course was longer than 6.2 miles). They had breakfast (danishes, cookies, bananas, juice, water and coffee) before the race in the gym which was nice. Registration was organized and easy, there were a lot of volunteers and the race was ontime. A great race that I'd do again. Last updated: 2006-12-30 12:00 AM

Arrived at Ida Lee with Brad over an hour before the race start.
Ate a GU :30 before the race, stretched, hit the restrooms and then headed outside to the starting line.
