toast and coffee for breakfast. Made sure to poo before race. light jogging to keep warm and get loose.

Event comments:

very cold! I couldn't feel my pinky fingers before the start. Had 2 pairs of running gloves on but had my hands in a fist inside - not in the fingers. that helped. Under Amour cold gear with yellow fitness shirt over, with running jacket on top. Hat, and tights under running pants. Legs were not cold through whole race. Ended with jacket unzipped and gloves off.
