Run
Comments: Will update ranking etc once official results are available. Good run, no hydration stations on the course. I was surprised by then since it was cold it sort of made sense that there wouldn't be any. Achilles held up well and forced me to maintain slower pace. Did walk a little in the 7k stretch. What would you do differently?: Run full distance next time with no walk breaks. Post race
Warm down: Walk back to the indoor venue. Had poridge and bagel and bottle of water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Healing Achilles tendon. Event comments: Good race. Probably do again next year. Last updated: 2007-01-15 12:00 AM

Was up at 5:45am to have Omelete breakfast and a glass of juice before leaving at about 6:20am to drive to Burlington (about an hour on a good day, but left early due to the snow flurries. Got a extra large black decaf coffee for the drive.
Got to the race venue at 7:30am, registered and got my chip and kit. Parking was just outside the door to the venue.
15 minutes prior, ran passed the start and finish line and warmed up.
