Comments: I'm guessing on my time. I did not wear a watch and there were no timing mats. We waited about 5 minutes from the time the first wave took off. I felt confident I could stay somewhat out of the "washing machine," but there is just no way. I had a good start, but, could not get into a rhythm until I rounded the 2nd bouy. I felt average in the water What would you do differently?: Train smarter Transition 1
Comments: I had a better transition this time, than in my last race. Again, guessing on the time. What would you do differently?: Go faster Bike
Comments: When I did the pre-ride a week prior to the event, Washington was torn up. When I turned the corner to head down Washington it had been newly paved, this was awesome, I was almost giddy with joy. I felt good on the bike, although I can get strong on the hills. What would you do differently?: Need to get strong on the hills and overall Transition 2
Comments: Had a not bad transition. I need to get some yankz and get rid of my shoe laces What would you do differently?: get some yankz Run
Comments: guessing on the time as I did not wear a watch. I had a problem getting my breathing under control. Finally settled in after passing the first and only water station. Had a good sprint to the finish What would you do differently?: increase my VO2Max Post race
Warm down: What warm down, it was 100 degrees What limited your ability to perform faster: I don't have fast twitch fibers Event comments: This was an inaugural race for Susan G Komen. I suspect with the name this event will get bigger, then as a result, will get better. Last updated: 2007-01-26 12:00 AM
