Pre-race routine:

waffles and milk. we didn't have any OJ and unfortunetly no dinner the night before other than a PB&J.
Event warmup:

Rode my motorcycle to the race. A little leg stretching...

Piss Poor. I was okay the first half of the race keeping pace at 7:50/mile to 8:00/mile, then the course turned into the hills through Iroquois Park, my hips started to hurt, I was getting a headache, so I just slowed and jogged the back half.
What would you do differently?:

not run a 10 miler knowing i wasn't properly fueled or rested...

Warm down:

got some gatorade, packed up the harley, and rode to the YMCA for my kids first soccer match for 3 year olds.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I was in Seattle all week before the race with a stomach flu, hadn't eaten well all week, fatigued from jet lag, etc, wah, wah, wah. My worst showing ever. In addition, I haven't done any LSD running in over 6 months. My last run was a 10K two weeks prior.

Event comments:

6P's... prior planning prevents piss poor performance.
