Swim
Comments: The swim was kind of easy for me. I went into thinking the worst and it wasn't bad at all. What would you do differently?: Not hold back. Their were times when I was just kind of doing the breast stroke, when I could have been going fast. I was very happy with my swim time for my first tri. Transition 1
Comments: Kind of a long run up the hill to T1. Kind of took my time and caught my breathe. What would you do differently?: Go quicker and knock off at least a minute by catching my breathe on the bike. Bike
Comments: Not impressed with my Bike time. First tri, so the goal was to finish. What would you do differently?: Gone faster. Lost focus, just caught up in all the atmosphere, etc. Transition 2
Comments: Taking my time. Did not rush through transition like I should and will for the next one. What would you do differently?: rush more.. Run
Comments: Legs felt heavy at first, but felt better after first mile. What would you do differently?: for next tri want to average 8min/mile Post race
Warm down: Walked for 5 min What limited your ability to perform faster: 10 days before the tri I hit a wall and lost all energy. Some kind of sickness, so I hydrated and did not work out once since. So, the next one not run my self down so I can taper correctly. Event comments: 1st tri ever and I am hooked already signed up for my next one in July and want to do a third one in September. It was a great experience!!! Last updated: 2007-01-28 12:00 AM

1st triathlon. Had a protein bar, banana and half of a bagel. A lot of water, gatorade. A gel before the swim.
Stretched out. Swam about 25 yards and got used to water, etc.
