Pre-race routine:

Had bowl of mac and cheese and some water for lunch than I listened to music!!

Ran around the parking lot once and then streched some.

I ran at an OK rate. I ran with my best friend Veronica Taylor (time:54:51;Rank:184...Right on my tale) My mom also was RIGHT behind me.
What would you do differently?:

Focus on my own race and keep looking back to see how close mom was behind me because that slowed me down. :(

Warm down:

Drank a Diet Dr.Pepper and had some salted peanuts. My dad made me walk around for a while because I was shaking like a plate of jello.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I knew my mom was behind me so I tried to stay up front (sorry mom!!) but soon she passed me and I came in like 5min behind her! :I

Event comments:

I loved this rac and would like to do again next year and try to improve my time so that I can be a better runnner!!

Course: Course was really hilly (almost to much for me) so I ended up walking up the HUGE ones. For the main part the course was up, down, straight, up, down... It was a good course though.
