Comments: Breastroked 8.5/10 laps. No real problems but breastroking that much tired out legs and probably had a big impact on other 2 events. Had pre-swim jitters but as soon as buzzer went off no problem. What would you do differently?: Train more, get technique down so I could actualy swim most/all of event free instead of breast. Transition 1
Comments: Rested a lot, a bit disorganized even though area was "organized"...lol. Consumed gel pak/water. What would you do differently?: Speed up ! Using 5 gal bucket was good idea....great for carrrying AND sitting. Bike
Comments: No real issues here too. Realized I wasn't as fast as on the bricks pretty early on. Uneventful and desolate. What would you do differently?: Swim better ! More riding. Transition 2
Comments: This was much closer to what an actual transition should be. What would you do differently?: IF YOU BUY A RACE BELT...USE IT !!! ...lol Only big rookie mistake was forgetting race belt/bib #...cost me 1:00 Run
Comments: don't really care for this...run down steep hill, run along road, then up steep gravel hill and back...twice..then .8 mile to finish. Actually had to walk part of the run going up gravel hill 2nd time. Walked about 45 secs. What would you do differently?: swim more. Post race
Warm down: none What limited your ability to perform faster: Swimming breastroke. Event comments: First triathlon.................. at least I finished !!
