Swim
Comments: Felt strong on the swim and managed to pass a dozen or two people along the way. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Swim was great Transition 1
Comments: This transition was from bike to swim since it was a reverse tri. Had no issues racking bike or taking off shoes/shirt/helmet. Had to walk on the pool deck once I got inside so that slowed me down a bit. What would you do differently?: Nothing really...maybe go sockless to save a few seconds. Bike
Comments: Felt solid on the bike. Had to unclip once or twice around hairpin turns so I could make the turn. I then had some issues clipping back in. What would you do differently?: Clean my cleats and not unclip...just slow down. Transition 2
Comments: This transition is from run to bike. Only had to switch shoes and put on my helmet. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Run
Comments: Felt solid on the run. Disappointed that the course was short. It's not that hard people! What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Grabbed some food and then hit the road...we had several hours of riding to get in. :) What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing. Event comments: For a short race to get out the cobwebbs, it was good. It took us longer to get to the race than it did to actually race. It was fun though and our first time racing doing the reverse tri. I'm disappointed for missing 3rd in my AG by :21, but I am happy with 4th. And I'm super excited about having the 6th fastest swim overall. Last updated: 2007-02-05 12:00 AM

Ate breakfast and drove to the race site with Brad to pick up our packets.
Set up transition and sat in the car to stay warm.
Ate a GU about 15 minutes prior. Besides that, no other warm up.
