Comments:

Very small race - not more tha 600 or so including the 5k runners. Started fast for position and slowed it down to a good pace of about 8:30 - lost a little steam and dropped to 8:40 avg by the end. Did pick it up for last half mile. As expected a boring, but flat and fast course. Hey, it beats the treadmil any day!
What would you do differently?:

No net timing and was in the back of the pack so picked it up and went out too fast to get in the middle of the pack HR was up too high to fast. Get to the start earlier and pace from the beginning..

Warm down:

Walk to the car and ate a bagel.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Need to run more.. right knee flammed up again.

Event comments:

PR - finally got under 2:00 for a half. Very happy with 8:40 pace.
