Pre-race routine:

HGot up at 3.50, had a glass of OJ and a slice of toast with jam.Loaded bikes on, got to Caloundra at 5.30, got myself and my 2 girls registered, checked our bikes in and set up all our gear, girls pretty excited. Went down to start line and watched girls enter and followed them thru the race, great to watch. Spoke to a couple of the guys in my category, everyone a bit toey, ready to race. Didnt take much water in, hopefully no stitch today.

Pretty disappointed with swim, havent done enough swimming in past 3 weeks, form and condition has dropped since Robina race.

Narrow bike mounting point, had 2 guys side by side had stopped to get on their bikes, had to force my way thru.

Happy with how I handled it.
