Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4:30, had some accelerade and a bagel with strawberry jam and peanut butter. Immediately before the race I had a powerbar. We drove to the race.
Event warmup:

After we got to the parking area, we had about a 1 mile walk to the start line.

The run course was ok, the Houston course is prettier.
What would you do differently?:

wear warmer clothes
Post race
Warm down:

ate a granola bar, and some soup, had some water and powerade, watched for Tammy at the finish line, and walked around to stretch.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing, I am happy with my time.

Event comments:

There were no finisher shirts, that sucked! Everything was outside, and it was sooooo cold. The only post race food was a small cup of soup, bananas, and small granola bars, not too impressive.
