Woke up at 4:15, ate a bagel with peanut butter and half a banana. Drove to the race site at 5, got there just before 6. Assembled bicycles.

i took a couple of miles to recover from the swim. It was muscularly challenging but not cardiovascularly challenging.

Got hot through the run, was okay after I took off the top to my trisuit. Run felt bad and I got a huge blister, but I ran the whole way, which was the goal

Controlled temp, run a bit harder
