Comments: I felt much better during this race going up hill than I have in past races. The hills were long but I was much more better prepared for this than in the past. What would you do differently?: I still need to hit the hills more often and for longer durations. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and streached for about 15 minutes and drank some water. Walked to the race awards area and had a scone and more water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Still need to work on uphill running. I also wasn't able to go as fast downhill so I need to work on running downhill faster. Event comments: This was a fun early season race. Not a lot of runners and you just got out and ran. Not a lot of fluff just real basic. Last updated: 2007-02-20 12:00 AM

Peanut butter and toast, Diet Pepsi, Apple juice.
Walked around the start line and jogged up and down the road 3 times for about .5 miles. Felt warm and strong before the start.
