What would you do differently?: swim quicker ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Took my time as the first event felt calm and not panicking felt I got out in an ok time What would you do differently?: not sure maybe not wear socks, will use clipless pedals for bike next race and want to pratice getting feet in shoes while on pedals ![]() Bike
Comments: Need to improve bike times significantly the bike is the biggest let down at the moment but also teh area I can make the most improvement just by increasing training What would you do differently?: train more and bike harder not be as concerned with saving myself for the run ![]() Transition 2

Comments: ok run, I could be quicker but pacing myself. I will always find running the hardest but pleased to have managed it What would you do differently?: run faster ![]() Post race
Warm down: bit of an anticlimax What limited your ability to perform faster: inexperience in pacing, not enough training Event comments: This is my first race so nothing to compare to however I will do it again next year as it will be a useful benchmark. I was not particularly pleased with my overall place but recognise that I have lots to learn and plenty of room for improvement. Can't wait for the next one Last updated: 2007-02-22 12:00 AM
