Bike
Comments: I felt totally "fresh" until about 40 miles, thats when it started to "feel" like I'd been biking. We missed the 8 mile loop they add, so our turn-around came at 40 miles. Messed up a few times with the Garmin, so it wasn't exact. Around 80 miles, I still felt good. The bridge to the end was tough. We made it to the end and still felt pumped up. We commited to making up the 8 mile loop we missed earlier. As we turned back (we were right where our car was), my back tire went flat (WHY is it always the back one??). It would have been so easy to quit at this point, but I didn't bike 92 miles to NOT do a century today!! Took about 30 min to fix the flat. The last 8 miles were the hardest. We we totally thrilled with ourselves for completing a goal. What would you do differently?: With the triathlon the following day to look forward to, I didn't have a chance to "celebrate" the completion of a long-term goal. I won't schedule back-to-back events like this again. Post race

Got there an hour after the plan. We were on our way, but turned around because my brother forgot his ipod.
Picking up race packets.
