Pre-race routine:

Ate breakfast 2 hrs before race start. Egg white, ham and homemade biscuits,coffee and gatorade
Drove to race, then set up trans and stretched
Event warmup:

Swam a few meters with wet suit to warm up and calm jitters

Not a great swim, was nervous and got a little nausous in the first lap and that freaked me a little. But calmed down and did the 2nd lap ok

Warm down:

Drove home, showered, changed and sat still for about 45 mins. then bakc to the park for afternoon race

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just trying to pace myself to the end still have 2 more race to do
