Swim
Comments: did pretty well considering I was beat from the last 2 days of racing, Got a little beat up going round the Bouy at turns by the other swimmers, but I didn't move for them like I usually do I just held my line Transition 1
Comments: Was still having bike prob. Before the race I noticed it would not stay in gear, had the bike support guy look at it. He is a really good bike wrench from the LBS and he said that my real Derailleur hanger is bent. So I decide to ride the best I could with only about 2 gear ( and wouldn't ya' know they were not the 2 I use for hills) What would you do differently?: Not let anything happend to my bike...I still don't know how it goet damaged. Bike
Comments: Not a fun bike,,,without 1/2 my gears it was hard to get up some of the hills and I had to even walk some of them. Not a good bike Transition 2
Comments: Was slow in trans. Quads were killin' me from riding in the too big gear and all the hill walking in my bike shoes...and the bandaids on my heels came of and I was bleeding again. What would you do differently?: Not let my bike get broke...and wear my socks when running in dirt Run
Comments: Heels bothering me some and legs just about dead. But I ran when I could and walked when I couldn't. Slowest 1/2 marathon time for me ever Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Broke bike, bloody heels and just being tired from the other 3 races. Event comments: Great weekend. I survived and finished that was my goal after DNF last year. I know what I need to work on for next year to finish stronger and faster. Can't wait Last updated: 2007-02-25 12:00 AM
