Run
Comments: I debated being cheerleader & trying to catch people all around the course again-I had such a good time doing that last year-and this year was a WHOLE lot warmer! but ..needed the psycological boost of being out ther running- eevn if just a 10K "training" run vs "racing" the 1/2 or full..Comfortable pace- good company.Physical issues- same. What would you do differently?: Push C2 to go ahead & run fast! Post race
Warm down: Walked a bit- tried to catch Scott finishing the 10k-figured Karen & Vanessa would be ahead of me..then got chilled so went & got some warm clothing so I could come back for the 1/2 AWESOME finishers. Aaron & Rob kindly let me use their room to change which was a real treat. What limited your ability to perform faster: Old news- Injury & resultant inability to run more than randomly & without real "training" Event comments: A dead of winter race is a good thing in New England..Nice course, organized-tho I would think VERY tough mentally for a Marathon.. The BT reunion aspect of this race makes it WAY cool- I had a great time- and very very exciting to witness PAM"S FIRST MARATHON_, Polly & Patty's 1st 1/2, (CONGRATS AGAIN!)Rob's revenge, Aaron's well executed plan, Ellen's comeback, JP & Heather having fun, May's solid & smiling effort meet the NY contingent, get to see so may BTers finish smiling & strong..Witness the MAX effect (!!) run & visit with so many good people. BT rocks! Thanks! Last updated: 2007-02-25 12:00 AM
