Pre-race routine:

Up @ 5:30. Ate toast with peanut butter, cup of java. Had a yucky GU 15 min. prior to race

Unprepared mentally for first OWS, seemed endless and not liking deep water doesn't help. Everything that I have learned from swim clinic totally forgot and I was never able to relax and get my stroke rhythm
What would you do differently?:

Remain calm and get some open water practice and improve my nutrition

Had a stitch in my right side the entire time except the last 1/4 mile. Fellow runners and friends kept me going giving me tips and support. Had to walk some and drank water.
What would you do differently?:

Keep fueling on bike and water with run

None except walking through the finish area to get gatorade and chex mix

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Poor nutrition race week and during race, mentally, emotionally and physically drained
