Pre-race routine:

Normal family supper. Chicken and pasta - way too heavy!
Drank lots of water during the day.

Comments:

Good run - pushed a little. Was able to easily pass when I wanted to. Completely ran the hill, but didn't have enough left to sprint to the finish... as a result got passed by another age grouper who paced me the whole way.. ughh!!
What would you do differently?:

Less dinner ... take my fuel belt.

Pizza and tim hortons. Stretch at home. Bath.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Great fun.. well organized. Other racers were very concentrated on racing. Think I was the only one yelling out hey good job etc...

Hate that Wendy's hill!
