Comments: Felt really strong for most of it, but my knee (ITB issues) was kinda bugging me by mile 8. What would you do differently?: Do my knee streches religiously during the days preceeding the race. Post race
Warm down: Long walk up the ramps to get out of the stadium, with a pause to pick up banana's, bagels and water, then continue walking to the car. Stretched a bit at the car, then drove home. What limited your ability to perform faster: Minor knee pain. Event comments: This was my first 1/2 marathon, and I had a great time! Next 1/2 M in about a month and looking forward to it! Woke up at 5:30 and had some muesli for breakfast. Picked up my running buddy, Heather, and drove downtown. Arrived around 7:00, got our numbers, etc and sat in the car because it was really cold.
Walked around a bit, stretched and shivered.
