Pre-race routine:

yogurt/granola. waited to go to the bathroom for 20 min but then had to get in line for start so i just had to do the right thing and pee in the lake.

Event comments:

need to be more prepared for swim. maybe i will practice bumping into stuff to screw up my breathing and get back into the breathing. this was a special tri because my girlfriend and i got to train together and share the entire experience together. I wish we could get the entire post race experience together but our fans would not allow that, but next year will be different. heres to a good race(raising my imaginary glass of sake that i will soon be drinking in japan).
