Pre-race routine:

Met up with Anthony from BT.
It was great to have someone to chat with prior to the race.
Event warmup:

I waited FOREVER in a bathroom line. I did not get finished until about 10 min before my wave so I had 0 warmup.

I was most worried about the swim.
It was much easier then I had expected. I was quite winded
when I was done though.

Overall I did pretty much as I expected.
After feeling how light Anthony's bike was, I think I could do
quit a bit better with a road bike.
What would you do differently?:

I'd love to find a used road bike.

Yuck. I alternated between running and walking.
It was nice to see that I was not the only one.

During the race, I ran past Desiree Ficker who was cheering on a friend of hers who was running along side me...

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I realized I had only been training for triathlons for about 10 weeks or so. If I can stick with the training, I can only improve - hard to get a whole lot worse :)

I will definitely do this event again next year.
