Comments: I thought I was going to die. What would you do differently?: spend some time actually running more than a mile once a month, just to see if I could run. I would practice bricks, then I would have known that your legs feel like noodles getting off the bike. When the volunteer says watch your step, REally , watch your step, or you'll take a header like I almost did. Post race
Warm down: don't drink Guiness with your buddies like I did. the other 400-500 athletes there weren't drinking, then again, this is wisconsin. What limited your ability to perform faster: I had no idea how to train and thought I could pull this off with little experience. Triathletes are remarkable people and I realized that there are healthy people out there who care about their health. I got hooked to triathlons after this experiene. Event comments: Well done, If I can do this and you are reading this wondering if you should do a triathlon. GO FOR IT.
