Run
What would you do differently?: Get to the front of starting line for the 5K. It took 2:30 just to cross the start. First mile was about 12:34, so we had to make up time thinking our next race was going to start farther away. As it turned out, because of construction, the 15K started in the same location as the 5K That was a relief. Post race
Warm down: Walk to lower heart rate, drink water, stay warm. What limited your ability to perform faster: Having to rush the 5K. Event comments: Small finish venue for food and drink, trying to support 10,500+ makes things a little chaotic. We chose to hit the road. Clam chowder didn't sound as good as a beer, but coffee sounded better. Last updated: 2007-03-12 12:00 AM

Get there early for parking. Scope out the Start/Finish. Locate Beer Tent.
First race was a 5K. Second race was a 15K starting 35 minutes later, usually in a different location, farther away from Start/Finish.
