Pre-race routine:

Perfect event for my first tri. I was able to watch others that new what they were doing, that helped me calm down.
Event warmup:

Didn't do much warming up, just some stretches. Once I got in line everything seemed to happen so fast, next thing I new I was off.

Trying to put on socks and a shirt while wet more diffcult then I thought.
What would you do differently?:

Next time I'll wair a tri shirt and won't bother with socks, also practice more of the running with the bike and getting on fast.

I have nothing to compair this race to, but I thought it was perfect for my first one. I really enjoyed it more then I thought I would.

I way screwed up on the swim, I did exactly what I told myself NOT to do. I felt great starting out, so I swam way to hard, passed 2 swimmers with in the first 2-300 meters and lost it after that. I ran out of steam, couldn't breath, tired, I tried to catch my breath by doing some breast stroke (that didn't work). I finally held on to the wall for about 30 sec and regained myself and finished up strong.
