Pre-race routine:

Warm up run for one minute. Make sure I start with the runners I want to finish with. Talk with brother about the movie we saw last night and notice all the green outfits people are wearing.
Event warmup:

Run three times a week and weight training three times a week.

Comments:

TRIPPED and fell going downhill around mile 3.5. Didn't realize I did it until I had got up and started running again. I got a little road rash, but just hands and knees. No blood stains on my new shoes.

Still got a PR.
What would you do differently?:

Buy shorter or elastic laces for shoes. Make sure I do the timing chip right so I can prove my time.
Post race
Warm down:

Krispy Kreme donuts, green beer (not recommended)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Shoe came untied even through a double knot. Laces are waaay too long.

Event comments:

Good way to start the season. This race was well attended and everyone was in good spirits.

I guess my DAG timer didn't work because I'm not on the online results list. I confirmed my time with sister-in-law's picture of me at finish. I will update if I am on the official results list. This is my best guess.
Course: A few hills, nothing crazy. Good turns and scenery - never got bored. Had a competitor who would pass me every downhill and I would pass every uphill - that made it fun. Tried to sprint uphill with a younger guy at the end and got SMOKED!
