Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4:45. Ate bagel, peanut butter and powerade on way to race. Arrive at 5:30 and raced bike.
Event warmup:

Swam 150 meters to get used to longer lanes than I am used to. Stretched and talked to other athletes.

What would you do differently?:

Had problems passing at wall, need to pass sooner. I hung back and waited to get to the wall and then passed so I lost some time.

Did not wear top because of cold weather outside so had to dry off an put on top also wore long sleeve bike jersey because of cold.
What would you do differently?:

Work more on transitions. Wear tri top in pool if weather permits and not were extra shirt.

Had problems passing one rider, He stayed just far enough ahead of me so I did not feel I could pass him and not draft. He slowed me down on hills. Took ride fairly easy so I would have legs to run.
What would you do differently?:

Pass other riders better and not slow down to worry about drafting. Ride harder, had plenty of legs left.

Slow transition. Feet were numb from not wearing sock on bike.
What would you do differently?:

If weather is cold wear to warmers. Get yankers instead of tying shoes.

First half mile legs had no feeling. Plenty of legs left last half mile. Good kick at end. Had too much left.
What would you do differently?:

Run harder because I had to much kick at the end. Probably should have cut at least 30 seconds off

Excellent race. Delayed 20 minutes or so because it was still dark. Forgot about daylight savings time.
