woke up at 4:45 at an english muffin with honey and glass of milk drove to the event arrived at 6:45

ran 3/4 mile swam 100 yards, power gel

started out about right, not too many hits, swam right of the bouy it was hard to spot turned and got into a good rythem, just was slow not hitting on all cyclinders, this swim had a shollow exit you could walk the last 20 yards
What would you do differently?:

relax a little more and push the pace, I have to remember this is a sprint not a 1/2 IM

May not wear socks, I will have to practice riding and running without socks

Rode good past several was pasted by 4 people averaged 23 mph on the flats, but the turns and hills toward the later stages took my average down, need to push more, remember it's a sprint

ran well, keep my pace througout past 8 runners and was past by 1, it was hard to keep a good pace with the constant turns and steep declines and inclines, some portions were unpassable.

short run, water and meal afterwords

What limited your ability to perform faster:

swim was disappointing and constant turns slowed me, but everyone had to deal with them

Very good race lots of volunteers and different I like the trail run and the bike course had some nice senery, just rough will do it again
