Swim
Comments: The swim was tougher than I had expected. This was probably due to having trained in a 20m pool for a 50m pool race. I got caught up trying to pass too many people and was breathing every two strokes instead of every four. What would you do differently?: Train in a 50m pool! Transition 1
Comments: Better than my first tri but due to the cold weather I had two shirts on. I should have left gloves off and had one shirt. What would you do differently?: In warmer weather have only one shirt and don't wear gloves for such a short race. Bike
Comments: Course was alot tougher than I expected with some really solid hills. I felt pretty good, however. What would you do differently?: Not too much...continue working on smoother gear changes. Transition 2
Comments: Better transition time than my first race. Removed my long sleeve shirt and put back on my short sleeve shirt so this took some time. What would you do differently?: Wear less clothing and no gloves. Run
Comments: The run went suprisingly smooth. My toes were numb from the cold ride for the first mile but the last 2 miles were pretty good. This is my fastest 5K time, yet. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race

woke up at 5:00 and had a bowl of cereal, banana and a glass of pomegranate juice. Loaded up the bikes and was off at 5:50.
It was a very chilly morning so everyone was not moving as fast as usual. I set up my transition area and went on a quick 5 minute run to loosen up.
