Comments:

Felt good during the run had a 7:48 first mile. During the race I started to feel tight in my chest because there was something in the air. I had the starting of an allergic reaction to the pollen from the Cottonwood trees.
What would you do differently?:

Take an allergy pill before the race and keep up on my race training. Only ran 2 times in the past week because of Plantar Fasciitis. Took the past 2 weeks off from running and really stretched the foot out and massaged it a lot and it feels much better now. No pain in the foot after the race.
Post race
Warm down:

Walk around

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not running for the past 2 weeks and an allergic reaction to pollen in the air.

Event comments:

No water on the course, other than that good organized race

My son Tren did the kids 12 and under Mile run and he finished 10th out of 67 Kids and 3rd in his age group. He is showing up his Dad already.
