Pre-race routine:

I woke up early to eat and get ready for the race. I had water, peanut butter crackers and banana. My allergies had been bothering me for several days, but I felt fine when I got up. I didn't sleep very well though.
Event warmup:

I stretched at the house before Jill picked me up. Then once we got to the race we jogged for a few minutes and then stretched some more.

Nothing. I felt good for the race.
Post race
Warm down:

I got a cup of water then went to the parking lot to have some oranges and pastries. Yummy! I drank a diet coke and walked around. Meet some of Jill's friends and saw a friend's daughter and husband.

Event comments:

I think it was a well organized race. I like the way they had several stations for food on round tables. I never had to wait in line for any food or drink. I was really pleased with my results. Jill and I ran another great race together.
