Comments: I felt great running, decided last minute to bag the tights and run in shorts. It was a beautiful day for a race. Course had a lot of turns and was poorly marked, the person finishing in front of me cut the last few hundred meters from the course. Apparently he didnt realize that a line of cones meant "dont' go that way". What would you do differently?: Better starting position, got a little bottled up at the start. Post race
Warm down: Cool down jog, took in fluids and stretching. Ran the course backwards to cheer on other racers. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just my training, just got back into runing from the injury. Still need some base work and definetly need speed work to increase leg turn over.
