Run
Comments: Diane and I met up with my sister-in-law Babette at the starting line. Diane & I stayed in our usual toward the back position. Turned on my MP3 player and started out slowly. Babs was somewhere ahead of us. Diane jumped ahead of me and I decided to stay behind. I never did catch her. She ran a great race. I picked up speed on the hills but would slow down to recover after getting to the top. I passed Babs at the turn around and didn't see her till the end of the race. She would have kicked my be-hind too if she hadn't been sick with a sinus infection. What would you do differently?: I need to work on pacing myself so I can feel strong at the end not like I'm gonna die. I tired on mile 3 where I needed to be strong. I did finish all out on the 0.1 ending! Keep racing and learning!!! Post race
Warm down: walking & stretching What limited your ability to perform faster: Being able to breath Event comments: I had a really good time with Diane & Babette! I hope to continue running after them again. Last updated: 2007-03-25 12:00 AM

Got up at 6:00am, Fed dogs, horses, and heard the first turkeys gobbling this morning. Diane came over and we drove 45-50 minutes to the event. Oh yeah I ate a big fat beagel with peanut butter and jelly while driving. (Not a very smart thing to do!)
Walk around a little then jogged a little to warm up.
