Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 2:00 am left the house at 2:45 am. Arrived in parking garage in Atlant at 5:00 am. Ate a Cliff bar and drank water in my car, got my gear and headed to where the race starts.
Event warmup:

No warmup-just some light stretching, and waited in a long line for last minute potty break. Waded through the crowd to find the 4:00 hour pace group sign.

Comments:

I hit the wall at about 20 miles, had to start doing some power walking. I was starting to feel very light headed and dizzy. I took enduralyte tablets and gels at regular intervals, and took water at every water stop, but I was getting very tired and starting to cramp in my calves.
What would you do differently?:

Need to train more consistently so that I don't hit the wall right before the last 6.2 miles
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not enough consistent training.

Event comments:

Good race. The people in Decatur turned out and I felt so much energy coming from them through this part of the route. They really were so encouraging. I also thought the people in Druid Hills were great. I liked this race and I really enjoyed the crowds. I wish the temp hadn't been so high, it really affected me and it made it tough for me to finish this race. I kept feeling like I was going to pass out the last 6 miles.
