Comments: Messed up on my Garmin timing at the end. Need to adjust total time and distance results. Time called out at finish was 26:46 and Garmin showed 3.02 miles = 8:52 minute/miles. What would you do differently?: Pushed as hard as I could based on my training/fitness level. Was satified with results and realize with more outside training, could improve time (something to shoot for). Post race
Warm down: Walked around refreshment area and parking lot for 5 minutes cool down. Ate banana and drank 2 cups water with small bottle of Gatorade on ride home. What limited your ability to perform faster: More outside training needed! Particularly to deal with hills and wind. Light run for 2 minutes before race and some stretching (could have done more of both)
