![]() Run
Comments: First 5 miles felt great, 6-9 felt very good going along just at sub 7 pace and then I just got tired. legs would not move. I missed the GU station at mile 8 b/c no one was handing them out to me I guess, major mistake. miles 10-13 were brutal, probably averaging a little under 8's. I wanted to go under 1:35, but being that this was my 2nd 1/2 ever and PR'ing by 36 minutes I'll take it. What would you do differently?: Run at least 13 miles a few times before a race. My longest training run was just at 11 miles, that could have been why i died at 10 miles. Also eat more before and during the race, i think if I would have had a GU or mabye 2 I could have easily gone under 1:35. ![]() Post race
Warm down: walked to gym, go tbag, walked to car, drove home, walked to bed, slept! What limited your ability to perform faster: not enough longer runs, and not enough energy(nutrition) Event comments: Good race, nice hilly, challenging course, probably will do it again next year.
