Run
Comments: First 2 miles felt strong. I didn't realize that I had run so fast, but still felt strong. What would you do differently?: At this time, nothing. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: I think I could have pushed a bit harder, and worked in a lower gear for better turnover. My body feels pretty good, and appropriately taxed. I don't really bike much, and think this is my weakest area. Wonderful volunteer sent me down the wrong path, I went out of the way about 1 mile. I ended up doubling back and catching up with the race. Who knows how much time I lost. Very, Very, Very frustrating. Transition 2
Run
Comments: legs felt like bricks after the bike. Absolute friggin bricks. Post race
Warm down: lots of stretching, self massage. What limited your ability to perform faster: Unsure about pace, length of bike segment, cycling inefficiency. Event comments: Could be a great race. Course was just right (for me). I am aggravated about the volunteer sending me in the wrong direction, which was due to the fact that there weren't any volunteers blocking the wrong way. The race results weren't posted up until after the race was over, so only the top 60 or so racers could find out their time. Still, good event. Last updated: 2007-03-29 12:00 AM

Ran a few laps up and down the field. Rested 2 days before race, did lots of stretching.
