Pre-race routine:

Went home and took clothes. I was really stressed.
Event warmup:

circular movements, limb swings etc.

Comments:

they didn't run away immediatly like last year LOL
we stayed together whole km before i stayed behind - that was pleasant surprise
outer side of left knee started to hurt after cca 1.5 km so I was forced to walk longer then my lungs needed. last km I couldn't run at all.
while running i enjoyed a lot.
it was very pleasant, very refresing, river scenary with horses, total relax.

What would you do differently?:

I would take my run clothes with me to work and avoid going home just for that.
I would done my winter preparation in order to have stronger legs so they don't start hurting right away.
Post race
Warm down:

last km was cooldown itself since i was forced to walk due to pain in side of my left knee. i did some light streching while chatting to nice people there - very nice! I was totaly relaxed. :-)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of preparation e.g. strength training during the winter

Course: flat, river bank you can see the route in my blog, it is circual between 2 bridges, very pleasant scenery, there is hippodrom nearby so i can enjoy seing the horses, and river breeze is nice and refreshing
