Comments: It was a good run for me. This is my second race ever and first 10 miler. I liked the distance and my goal was to match my 8k pace and I accomplished the goal. Could have pushed harder but wanted to be able to go the distance. What would you do differently?: Train at faster intervals, try to get faster miles. Post race
Warm down: Walked about 10-12 blocks What limited your ability to perform faster: Training has been mostly in this range, need to improve conditioning and do more at race speed Event comments: Excellent race, wonderful course, beautiful spring day. Got up at 3:45 and worked the London Marathon which was starting at 3:55 ET. Once that was underway, loaded my ipod shuffle. Two small bagels with cream cheese, packed my bag and headed out. Cold that morning so took warm clothes including gloves. Had a nice drive over to the race with the sun coming up.
