Up at 4:30AM. Oatmeal, yogurt,H20, coffee, stretch.

O.K swim. I didn't push it. Swam straight, home leg was tough with the sun.Lots of people from previous wave to swim around. Hit the beach at 13'56".Long run-up to T1.

I haven't put in the miles on the bike this year, so I'm not surprised by the results.Some of the stretches were breezy & the roads a bit rough. O.K. bike course

Crazy run course. It was nice to have mile markers each mile.I felt like I was on the verge of cramping the entire run(quads), I did cramp last 100 yards(hamstring).Ran first mile at 7'36", but faded badly.
What would you do differently?:

More run miles.

Lack of training miles.

Event comments:

Nice location. Weird triathlon distances(a strong cyclists dream). Race director & staff were great. I thought the results were lame! Three days to get overall results(with no T2 times?) is pathetic. I would suggest another timing company. Not sure this is a good $90.00 entry fee value.
