Felt good as the rain had diminished for most of the first run. Wind in our face on the way out. To our backs at the turn.

Not wear the sunglasses I took. Gotta try the 180's instead.

Held great pace throughout, no surging or slowing. Pulled ahead on the only "hill" on the course.

No Brick legs on this run. Felt very strong and able to keep consistent pace.
What would you do differently?:

Pick up pace at the halfway point, even though I did pass several folks.

Event comments:

Very safe course management. Good job to AA Sports.

Canceled the post race awards ceremony, which was a smart idea. Too wet and cold to stand around.
