Comments: Hard to get in a rhythm on the bike. I drank 1 bottle of tri-cocktail and 2 bottles of water on the bike. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Take my sneaker balls out of my shoes before the race! Run
Comments: I found it difficult to run fast. My legs felt heavy after the bike. Post race
Event comments: #1 I am still fighting the mental game on the run. Mentally I want to go faster, but my legs do not seem to cooperate. It is tough to get passed by several competitors on the run. I blame it on the fact that I am just under 200 lbs, but I need to quit making an excuse for myself. I must just train harder to get faster! #2 I also think I may have taken in too many calories before and during the race. Next race, I am going to try to have less calories before the race and drink just cytomax on the bike. #3 I think I may have trained too hard the day before.
