Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 3:00am, ate a Cliff Bar for breakfast, showered. Arrived at race venue at 5:30am and set up transition zone.
Event warmup:

At 6:15am, 1.5mi warmup in 9:30. Warmed up a few strokes in water with wetsuit, but found it much too warm and took it off.

I felt a little better than last time, but it was probably just because I already knew I was going to be very slow in the water. I am very weak on this leg.

I did not realize there was a slight upgrade crossing the mount line. I had a lot of trouble getting on top of my shoes, and wasted a lot of time.
