Run
Comments: felt really good on this run. stayed with the leaders for the first mile, then slowed down a hair, but kept up with my carrots and passed two of them as we headed towards t1. 36/165 women. What would you do differently?: not start out as fast. Transition 1
Comments: this was REALLY fast for me. What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: first race on the new tri bike! woo hoo! i was so happy to be on the bike. stayed neck and neck with teresa brenneke, who came in 6th overall woman. she tracked me down after and said 'we need to train together!' good ego boost for me :) 4/165 women!!!!!! What would you do differently?: nada. Transition 2
Comments: again, this was fast for me. need to learn a cx dismount. What would you do differently?: other than the cx dismount, nothing. Run
Comments: a few people i passed on the bike caught me on the run, but that's no surprise. still felt really good. and had enough left for a kick at the end...but not TOO much. i really felt i broke throug the 'hold back or you'll bonk' thing. 43/165 women. i really really need to work on my running! What would you do differently?: nothing. Post race
Warm down: found bill and the girls, and malte (who got 2/2 for his ag). What limited your ability to perform faster: staying out late playing basketball in heels on wednesday night. Event comments: i really like these events. very low key. Last updated: 2007-04-27 12:00 AM
